First, I will admit that I am a hardcore fan and would love anything that these guys do. Unless Mike came out and played nothing but 1945 over and over, I would be hard pressed to complain. That being said, this was one of the best Social D concerts ever, and I have seen quite a few. There was a good mix of old and new songs. They opened with I was Wrong, So Far Away, Bad Luck, Far Behind, Machine Gun Blues, 1945 (I admit that this is not a fave of mind), Sick Boy, Cold Feelings, Bakersfield, Sweet & Lowdown, Ball & Chain, Dear Lover, Pleasure Seeker (awesome!), Black Magic, Company C, and there were probably a few more but my memory fails me. They ended with Ring of Fire. Mike seemed to be in a particularly good mood, so he told a few jokes and encouraged everyone to vote. Maybe the few days off due to canceling of some shows because of the hurricane gave the guys a chance to re-charge the batteries. I did upload a photo, but not from this show because we were told we couldn’t take photos for some reason. This was actually from 10/26/12 at Roseland Ballroom in NYC.
