Show Review: 712

This was my 5th time seeing Social Distortion and like always, they did not disappoint. Lindi Ortega provided some decent eye candy as the first act,…she can definitely sing but too country for me. The Toadies were by far the best opening act I have seen best suited with a Social Distortion show. Their raw vocals and texas rock was a nice compliment to Social D’s California style. The highlight from these boys was their cover of The Reverend Horton Heat. When Social Distortion hit the stage, it was excitement from the first song, til the end of their 3 song encore. Last night was by far the best set list I have seen from them and played a decent amount of songs from White Light, White Heat, White Trash. Finally, after 5 shows we all got to hear I Was Wrong,…Mike Ness required the lyrics taped the stage for this one, as well as a few others which shows how lucky we were to hear them. This band is older than me, older than most bands and still provided a show which we will remember forever. ***** (5/5)
