What can you say about a band that has not only been playing great Punk Rock music for over 20 years but has continued to grow and evolve as musicians. They were awesome when i first saw them with the Adicts at the Goleta Valley Communitty Center in 1983 and on Friday night Mike Ness proved that "Rock n’ Roll has not only been good to him, but he has given something back" also. From their must hear newly debuted rendition of the classic "Cold Feelings" to their always crowd pleasing version of "Ring of Fire". The new material off "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes" fit right into the set as if "Machine Gun Blues" was always meant to be sandwiched between "Story of my Life" and "Ball of Chain". A must see concert event that shouldn’t be missed by young or old. Hardcore fans or new arrivals alike will be impressed by Mike Ness and company. My only hope is Social D doesn’t take too much time before they pass through the emerald city again.
