Show Review: 562

Social Distortion’s show at the Roseland was killer. Hearing songs spanning Mike Ness’ outstanding musical career from multiple albums was fantastic. Social Distortion played tunes like "Mommy’s Little Monster," "Prison Bound," "Bakersfield," "Another State of Mind," "Sick Boy," "Ball and Chain" and many other greats. New drummer Dave Hidalgo Jr. is tremendous on drums and fits right into the band as does bassist Brent Harding. I love the keyboardist on the tour who also played accordion. This addition just adds another dimension of richness to Social Distortion’s seminal sound. It was an incredible show. Mike Ness of course, interacted with the audience and looked so handsome and sharp. Ness’ voice was magical and the energy from the audience was fantastic with audience members singing along to the songs. It was memorable.
