Show Review: 535

I’ve been a fan of Social D since I heard Ball & Chain back in the mid ’90s. This was my first time seeing the guys, and was not dissappointed. This was pure rock and roll – Mike Ness was incredible, and has lost none of his swagger. Songs like Ball & Chain don’t loose anything with age, but get better as you get older. The new stuff sounded good, but the real high points were on Sick Boy and Another State of Mind; the encore of Ring of Fire really finished it up. This was a great show, and my only regret was that the venue had a sub-par sound system.
