Show Review: 208

I’ve seen 4 SD shows (this being the third..the Tulsa show being the 3rd) (others in KC, Omaha, Dallas)…but this Tulsa show was the only all aged show I’d been too and the diversity in the crowd was really cool…i couldn’t believe how many kids were there. Being 38 its understandable that "why" so many kids were in attendance. Anyways, one particular time in the show Mike asked who the youngest person @ the show was and asked him to be passed up to the stage (similar to the what’s seen on the SD dvd) but this kid was obviously a complete stranger (probaly 8 yrs old or so..can’t remember)…Mikes interaction with this young man was a real joy to watch and the kid (being quite shy) made the show something special that i’d not seen in the bar/club shows i’d been to previously…its nice to see the personal side of the artists and get a little glimpse into what’s in their minds..i thank you mike for this moment. The show rocked like all of them did and the sound quality @ Cains Ballroom was great as it was in the previous two shows i had seen @ Sokol Hall in Omaha and Trees in Dallas (Beaumont Club in KC has a really low ceiling and muffles sound quality)….loved this show…it rocked and i took a buddy who’d never heard SD before and he immediately became a fen…would love to see you guys make a return trip to Tulsa and the Cains. Keep up the good work.
