On a Tuesday night with oppressive heat and humidity and only a few nights after their Lollapalooza appearances, Social Distortion and Wolfmother could have easily mailed this one in. But they did what they do best-brought the thunder, and whipped the 2500+ into a sweaty, raucous frenzy.

Thank you for not mailing it in!

Social D, you rocked!! Thank you!! Flew in from Seattle for this show, Mike, I’ve had a crush in you since I was 14….20 years now! Front and center, dancing to my oc boys… From the oc myself… Awesome!! I’d love to give a big Internet shout out to the 350 pound asshole with the tie dye (how punk rock is that?!?) who pushed me into the guard rail and broke my arm during “Rung of Fire”… Thanks asshole, don’t ya know?!? You watch for the 120 pound girls and take care of them… I’m a hard core punk girl, seen Social D, Rancid, and many other hardcore shows and walked away bruised, but never broken bones! We are all here to have a good time, rock out… Don’t drag me down… Fellow punks… Watch for each other, take care of each other… It’s not us against each other… Aren’t we tired of people pushing us around?!? We need to hold each other up, don’t break each other… I fly home tomorrow… I’ll take care of my arm then, tonight, it’s all about my oc boys, love you Social D, fuck that ass, I’ll see you again every chance I get, I’ll be that pink and purple haired girl in the front, dancing and singing my heart out everytime! Broken bones?!? Bring them on, so worth a night of fun with social d! And boys… You don’t take care of the girls?!? This 5 foot 1, 120 pound punk rock girl will take you down…
