in a word….HOT As always Mike and company put on a fantastic show! The opening acts, The Action Design and Dan Satrain were awesome as well. This is the first time I was ever at the Chameleon. Intimate would be a good word if it wasn’t something like 90 degrees and humid. All in all a great show….and I apolgize if there was a puddle below me from the balcony, damn it was hot! :) |

This was my 14th Social D show. I loved the play list and how some “Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell” songs were played. As usual, Social D rocked but anyone who was seeing social d for the first time at this show should see them again. I loved the show and wouldnt have missed it. However, the sound seemed off at times. The vocals were way too low and they didnt seem as “tight” in play as I’ve always heard. I’m sure this was due to the sound in the club or perhaps the insane heat inside which had to be near 100 degrees. I again loved the show and the playlist. I only remark because I want everyone at that show to know for as good as this show was, Social D is usually even better. No disrespect guys!!! I’m looking forward to catching the dc and baltimore shows too!!! |

This was my first time seeing SD. Awesome freak’n show!!! Hoped to hear 99 to Life but Prison Bound eased the pain. Me and the wife got caught dead smack in the mosh pit within seconds of Mike strumming his first key!!! Got the wounds to prove it!! LOL I also caught the guitar pic Mike tossed out after singing Ring of Fire. The only down fall of the night and these are Mike’s words, “It is as hot as ass in here”! |

Amazing show!! Outstanding mosh pit the whole night. So happy to see this legendary band finally. They played all of their best hits and the sound was amazing the whole time. Cheers to one of the best rock n’ roll bands in the land. I hope to see you again real soon and can’t wait to hear the new tunes soon. |

all I can say is WOW, they still have it after all these years. I’m 35 and have been to a lot of shows and Social D never disappoints. The club was sold out, the set was nice and long, they played a great mix of songs, they played a new one and that was great as well. I drank a bit of Guinness so the exact set list escapes me. I know they didn’t play Story of my life or I Was Wrong which bummed me a bit as those are great songs, but they did play a lot of other great stuff like Prison Bound, Creeps, Reach For The Sky, Mommy’s Little Monster, Bad Luck, and a bunch of others, I would say the set was about 12 songs and a 3 song encore, kick ass!!! |

Had not seen Social D in years at the Chameleon Club. It’s an intimate spot. Had heard some of the guys visited Senorita Burrita earlier in the day. knew it would be hot as hell inside the club. Arrived 2 blocks from the club and walked down to the club at about 8:45ish. As we neared the corner of Prince street (1/2 block from the club) i passed a guy walking towards the intersection off of chestnut street near the tour bus. We nodded and i said how’s it going and he said (the bass player) how’s it going back. as i looked to my left a guy was sitting on steps across from the police station on his cell phone. I nodded and kept walking, pretty sure it was Mike Ness…(Mike, i was the guy with the shaved head and a Clash shirt on with an american flag on the shirt if you remember) I did not realize til later that this was them doing regular normal things prior to the show and this is why i love this band. Regular guys who love to play rock music and generally keep to themselves. love you guys and the show was fuckin awesome, mixing in nwe songs with Social D old school. love Mike’s interaction between certain songs..so happy you guys played the lancaster scene..much appreciated and the band sounded great. Much respect from..Rayzor |
