LUPO’ SUCKED!!!! I have seen you guys a bunch of times and you ruled! Lupo’s was 1000 degrees, the bar was way to packed and unless you were on the floor getting smushed by smelly, sweaty college guys you couldn’t hear shit. I was in the back and had to stand on a railing to hardly see and the sound was pretty much non exsistent. Still love Social D

Awesome show in a great location with a fantastic audience!

Social D. in a small club is more intensive than in a bigger hall in europe!

I’ve been following these guys since the early/mid 80s but for whatever reason had never seen them live. They certainly didn’t disappoint! I’d also never seen a show at Lupo’s though I’ve been to other concert venues in RI. Great show at a great venue! Also, damn reasonable ticket prices. Can’t wait until they come back again!

30th Anniversary at Lupos Heartbreak Hotel was a disappointment as far as a “party” was concerned. The club offered nothing to celebrate it’s existence, but Mike Ness and crew gave everything to celebrate the existence of punk rock and Social D. Great sound and was that Charlie or Atom? Rythm section as always was tremendous. Social D delivered all the hits and the couple of new songs I can’t wait to hear in September on the new vinyl and at the House of Blues Boston.

As for the openers, Action Design was ok and Sam had good songs but no charisma… Social D RCOKS, Lupo’s SUCKS.

I’ve been a fan of Social D since I heard Ball & Chain back in the mid ‘90s. This was my first time seeing the guys, and was not dissappointed. This was pure rock and roll – Mike Ness was incredible, and has lost none of his swagger. Songs like Ball & Chain don’t loose anything with age, but get better as you get older. The new stuff sounded good, but the real high points were on Sick Boy and Another State of Mind; the encore of Ring of Fire really finished it up. This was a great show, and my only regret was that the venue had a sub-par sound system.

You guys rocked! It was f’in rad to see you at a small venue like Lupos. And it was awsome to see the new and old out to whitness what so many people don’t even know exist! They don’t know what there missing. We don’t get very many west coast ledgends tearing it up in RI. I can’t wait to hear the new album I know it’s gonna be sick. Look forward to the next show, hope it’s sooner than 5 years this time! Well keep the tunes coming we really appreciate what you do.

I have been waiting to get the opportunity to see SD for over ten years. Went early to the show and endured a “cool” set from AD and suffered through Sartain (He ain’t Setzer and he ain’t the Blasters). SD performed with specific musical action. All pistons firing. So impressed with the show. BUT. The show starts at 11PM and is over at 12:30PM. Seemed so automatic in the set. I saw no passion or intensity for that matter. I thought I was going to see a “fire-breathing” set. Instead, it was all about a band passing through town. So, so disappointed.
