Show Review: 642

Well, it’s not you dad’s Social D, but it was a great show! Old punkers and their kids showed up to the Ryman for this one. The good: Incredible opening, great seating, good sound and a couple of good cover songs. The bad: …too many ‘I wanna look like Mike Ness so badddd’ pompadours in the crowd, low energy crowd despite the stage energy (could have been the bench seats at the Ryman), no one was thrown out during their set, too many repeat songs for the folks who have seen them before. The set list hasn’t changed much over the years. Well worth the $35. Social D. is just damn good.
